If you make the Most High your dwelling— even the Lord, who is my refuge – then no harm will befall you, no disaster will come near your tent. For He will command His angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways.
Psalm 91:9-11
I have been a kindergarten teacher at Lynden Christian since 1983. I have a degree in elementary education and love teaching young children. I have taken many classes to help me learn about music, sign language and at-risk children. My prayer is that I will get to keep teaching kindergarten for many more years.
My mission is to open God’s world to the children I teach. I want them to know that God is in control and will always be there for them. I also want them to learn as much as their brains can hold. My passion is to work with children that struggle with behavior issues and help them in every way that I can.
My husband, Bob, and I have two children, Brady and Emma. Being a parent has been a very hard job and I am blessed to have had my children in a Christian school where God is the center of everything. Their time spent here at LC has molded them into the caring, Christian adults they are now. We go to church at Christ the King in Bellingham. I love to volunteer at the 2nd Chance Thrift Store.
My favorite Bible verses are from the Psalms. These verses have comforted me and helped me to remember that God will always be watching over me.
