Our preschool program is open to families who desire a Christian preschool program for their child. The enrollment process for preschool at Lynden Christian Schools follows these steps:
Forms to be submitted:
Application Form: Parents are to complete and submit a "Student Application Form" for each child. A $30 per student, non-refundable application fee is to be attached.
Expectation Form: The signed expectation sheet must be submitted with the application.
Preference Form: Parents are to complete and submit at "Preschool - Kindergarten Preference Form" for each child.
Medical Record Requirements: Before your child enters school, we need a signed Certificate of Immunization Status and the Family/Medical Information sheet.
PRESCHOOL (AGE 3)
Parents must provide transportation to and from school for our 3-year-old students.
Tues/Thurs mornings
Arrival: 8:30 to 8:45 a.m.
Ready to go home at 11:45 a.m.
Tues/Thurs afternoons
Arrival: 12:05 to 12:15 p.m.
Ready to go home at 3:15 p.m.
PRESCHOOL (AGE 4)
Four-year-old preschool students may ride the school bus with an older sibling.
Mon/Wed/Fri mornings
Arrival: 8:30 to 8:45 a.m.
Ready to go home at 11:45 a.m.
Tue/Thur mornings
Arrival: 8:30 to 8:45 a.m.
Ready to go home at 11:45 a.m.
Mon/Wed/Fri afternoons
Arrival: 12:05 to 12:15 a.m.
Ready to go home at 3:15 p.m.
Students are asked not to arrive before 8:15 a.m. nor remain after 3:30 p.m.; teachers are working and may not be in the classroom. Please notify the teacher and the school office in advance if you plan to drop off your child early or pick them up late.
If your child is sick please notify the school office before 8:30 a.m.
Please send a note to your child's teacher, or call the school office, if your child will miss part of a day due to an appointment. Advance notice is appreciated.
Vacations and other non-emergency extended absences require an Excused Absence Form. This form should be filled out well in advance of the planned absence and returned to the school office. A note to your child's teacher is appreciated as well.
Once we receive all the application forms, families will receive a letter stating their acceptance into our preschool program.
